There are distinct diagnosis and procedure codes for the counseling and/or contraceptive management services personally provided by physicians and other qualified health care professionals (QHPs). This article reviews reporting options for the following services:

Diagnosis codes for contraception services and procedure codes for some related services are also reviewed.
