Abstract

This paper on software reuse is the view of a practitioner rather than of a scientist. Myth 1: OO technology eats up reuse. Fact 1: OO does not automatically yield high reuse rates-both OO and reuse can complement each other. Myth 2: Incentives are key to reuse success.
