Dividing the different generations in the memoirs into two, the elders and the youngster, the study investigates how these generationsrelate to nature; which generation enjoys an interconnected stance to nature, and which one holds an ecophobic attitude. What nature represents to these generations, andthe effect of their different allegiances with it on their lives are approached. Abstract

The present study attempts an ecocritical approach to Rose Tremain's memoirs Rosie: Scenes from a Vanished Life (2018).
