Abstract

In this paper several laboratory and field measurements were conducted in order to know the response of the 3rd and 5th harmonics generated by household equipment. The obtained results from the field measurements indicated that 3rd harmonics are located in the second and in the third quadrants of the complex plane, and the 5th harmonics are located in the first and fourth quadrant of the complex plane.
