ASEP of maximal ratio combining (MRC) Rake receiver in Ultrawide band (UWB) multipath channel is evaluated with the help of proposed numerical approach taking a new quadrature based approximate log-normal “power sum” distribution. ASEP of the same is compared with that of obtained using other approximate distributions of log-normal “power sum”.
