Abstract
In this paper it is shown that the use of radar absorbing material (RAM) allows to expand the working frequency band of the antenna by 330 MHz (6.3%). The antenna with RAM had a working frequency band by the level of $\mathbf{VSWR}\leq 3$ in the frequency range 2.29-7.85 GHz (3.43:1 bandwidth).
