FM-Chord uses Double Metaphone encoding and 3-grams of keywords to reduce the effect of edit distance between the advertisement and query keywords. FM-Chord replicates advertisement to achieve fault tolerance to node failures. Abstract
Searching with partial knowledge and misspelled keywords is a challenging problem in Peer-to-Peer networks.
