By using Unity3D development engine and HiAR augmented reality platform, the real-time display models of lathe and its internal structure models are realized. At the same time, the models can be rotated, zoomed in, and zoomed out by touch screen operation. Therefore, the traditional teaching method is changed, the visualization of teaching content is realized. Abstract

Lathe turning training is an important practical teaching content for students in engineering universities. The traditional teaching way are operation demonstration and theory explanation, and the teaching efficiency and teaching quality all need to be improved. Based on mobile augmented reality(AR) technology and combined with the characteristics of lathe turning training in engineering training, a teaching assistant system of lathe turning training is developed. 车床车削训练是工科院校学生重要的实践性教学内容。传统的教学方式是操作演示和理论讲解,教学效率和教学质量都有待提高。基于移动增强现实(AR)技术,结合工程培训中车削培训的特点,开发了车削培训教学辅助系统。研究了系统的开发内容、开发过程、所涉及的应用以及学生的反馈。利用Unity3D开发引擎和HiAR增强现实平台,实现了车床模型及其内部结构模型的实时显示。同时,可以通过触摸屏操作旋转、放大、缩小模型。因此,改变了传统的教学方法,实现了教学内容的可视化。达到了语境学习和互动学习的效果。
