Abstract

Paper represents the subtle analytical technique, applicable to the problem of reasonable reduction of Park-Gorev equations, theoretically formulated and sporadically discussed ever since the classical model of electric power system (EPS) has been widely introduced to analyze transient phenomena and steady-state modes of single- and multimachine system. The derived equations of quazi-stationary modes give the correct solutions for synchronous and asynchronous modes of the electrical machines.
