The proposed PTF is sensitive to detect the distortions in the supply voltage and extract the fundamental component of supply voltage from the distorted supply voltage without distortions and phase delay. Abstract

A new predictive tuned filter (PTF) based generalized $p-q$ power theory for mitigating the current harmonics and reactive power to show the unity power factor operation under distorted and unbalanced supply voltage is presented in this paper.
