Instead of this it also affect the revenue of the Energy companies in form of energy loss and causes the unnecessary economic impact along with system instabilities. So to improve power quality a single-stage single- switch Boost-Boost power converter with the Average Mode Control Scheme (AMCS) is presented in this paper to provide DC power output. This converter provides 3.90% THD which is 0.20% improved than a single-stage single-switch boost converter [20] at 500W and as per the IEEE standard. Instead of this improvement, converter also widen their fidelity with the further THD alleviation on the increased Reactive power demand.
