The information system and its impact on the sustainability of a competitive advantage: as in the case of the port of Agadir

Abstract

•Axis of the communication: logistic processes The objective of this work is to study the contribution of the use of Community Information System (CIS) to acquire of a Sustained competitive advantage (SCA) in the port of Agadir. The conclusions drawn from this research highlight how the SCA is acquired by the ICS in the port context, and the existence of effect relationship between them. The port of Agadir has an interest to develop its SCA based on the technological resource. In addition, we have noted the significant impact of the different characteristic related to ICS on the different capacities which improves the organizational process. The mobilization of two approaches relating to resources and to the collaboration (RBV,RV), also the recourse to the mixed methodology and the use of statistical methods of second generation (PLS) has allowed us to ensure the validity of the existence of this relationship.
