From surface temperature measurements using infrared imaging, it is observed that the heat generated by corona discharge alone only increases the surface temperature of corona wire by few centigrades. Abstract
The effect of corona wire surface temperature on ozone generation in an air-cleaning electrostatic precipitator is studied experimentally.
