Abstract
Phosphate-supported calcium uptake by guinea pig cardiac sarcoplasmic reticulum has been shown to exhibit a pattern different from that of oxalate-supported calcium uptake. Ionophore-induced calcium release has been demonstrated following phosphate-supported calcium uptake.
