Abstract

The Micro-electromechanical Hybrid Gyroscope adopts the principle of traditional Dynamically Tuned Gyroscope and uses micro-machining technology to realize Gyroscopes of small size and mass with comparable performance. The rotor subassembly of the hybrid Gyroscope needs to be driven by an electrical motor at a higher speed to impart the required angular moment. The miniature motor has to operate the rotor subassembly of the Gyroscope at a steady speed irrespective of the bearing friction fluctuations and other external disturbances.
