Abstract
In this paper, we compare three methods for synthesizing tactile vibration signals from photometric images. Firstly we obtain the geometric information from the photometric images. Secondly analyzing the surface normal and the frictional phenomena between finger and object, we propose some methods of rendering the tactile feeling vibration.
