Abstract

Prof Alexander Rosenkranz and Prof Markus Ketteler welcomed the audience and the expert panel of the symposium, and briefly described the programme of the meeting. Prof Laurent Juillard discussed the challenges faced in achieving phosphate control in patients on haemodialysis, as well as aspects for optimising the management of hyperphosphataemia.
