This paper presents the Group Dreaming, a method for working with dreams in groups, created by a Brazilian research group and inspired by the Social Dreaming Matrix, a technique developed by researchers at the Tavistok Institute in London. The Group Dreaming presents, however, differences and specificities: intersubjective psychoanalytic conception of dreaming, the consideration of the group and its specific processes, the dream report as a mediating object and the perspective of a task centered group that can be adapted to different contexts. It will provide examples and discussions about its uses, conduction and possible effects, with the expectation that it can be expanded as a strategy to promote mental health for a significant number of people.
