Abstract
Entrepreneurship is the defining characteristic of economic change and development. It is, as the mainstream economic theory presumes, the most exalted expression of an individual's self-interest, talent, and self-esteem as well as of the structural institutionalization, organization, and dynamism of productive and distributive superstructures.
