Abstract
For the evaluation of the back flashover risk of a whole transmission line using simulations, probability distributions of lightning strike amplitude and strike density along the line route are needed. In this paper, an evaluation procedure of electric-field based measurement data to calculate the distributions and strike density for each tower of a line is investigated.
