Abstract

The weighting factor in model predictive torque control (MPTC) has a strong influence on control performance. This paper proposes a weighting factor online tuning method based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm and linear fitting method using continuously sampled stator current errors. This approach has the advantage that the relationship between the weighting factor and errors can be reflected and adjusted on time. Simulation tests are carried out to validate the effectiveness and better performances such as speed integrated time and absolute error (ITAE) and stator total harmonic distortion (THD) for the proposed strategy.
