Proposed algorithm can be utilized in protection schemes of the transmission and distribution feeders in the grid integrated solar PV farms. Algorithm has been tested for the estimation of the faults such as phase to ground, phase to phase, two phases to ground and three phases to ground fault on the AC side of the grid. Algorithm is also tested for estimation of faults on the DC bus of the solar PV farms. Abstract
