Abstract
A study considering both the last thirteen year surface temperature, greenhouses gases (water vapor, carbondioxide, ozone and methane) data measured by Aqua Earth-observing satellite mission and the 15 years lightning events data recorded by the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission, suggest a positive correlation between some greenhouse gases and lightning activity in Colombia.
