Abstract
Beamforming is a key element in current wireless communications, being employed in a broad variety of applications due to its high impact on system performance. This paper presents a Software Defined Radio system with a linear antenna array configuration that performs digital transmit beamforming by weighting the baseband I and Q components of the signal.
