Abstract
Roman Archaeology is one of the most popular archaeological disciplines in Europe. Roman archaeologists frequently have to deal with excavations within a context of a modern city. This means that they cannot always dig an area extensively and deeply, but they must interpret the archaeological records based on the partial evidences brought to the light.
