Abstract

We have performed dynamical modeling of the fission process using the Langevin equations. Two types of the collective potential have been used: (i) the finite range model potential extensively used in the literature and (ii) the Lublin-Strasburg drop model potential appeared much later. Our calculations have shown that quantitatively both potentials result in the values of observables which are not in perfect agreement with experiment. Moreover in the calculations using the Lublin-Strasburg drop model the disagreement with the experimental data is significantly stronger.
