Abstract

The definition of irrigation management is of fundamental importance inirrigated agriculture. The objective of this study was to optimize the use of water inagriculture, reducing the environmental impact caused by the waste of water inagricultural practices. A localized irrigation management system was developedconsisting of an application and an analog sensor. The system proved efficient, being ableto determine the irrigation time and the losses of water by percolation, providing a moreefficient use of the water.
