This paper proposes a user interface for observation and comparison of mode water shapes in a VR space and a view selection technique for observation of similar/dissimilar parts of the mode water shape pairs. This paper introduces examples of mode water shape pairs which have small or large dissimilarity. By selecting a viewpoint, we walk through in a VR space to observe a target part with the intuitive simple operation.
