Experimental design to determine the parameters of induction machine

Abstract

Over the years, various theoretical analyses of induction machine have been done, but not all of these analyses have been fully investigated. Most often when data sheet from the supplier of an induction machine is not available from the manufacturer and the information in the unavailable data sheet is required for further research based investigations, it becomes difficult. This paper looks into designing an experiment to determine the parameter of induction machine so that further research based investigation can be carried out on the machine. Apparently, the results from the experiment correlate with essential parameters on the data sheet supplied by the manufacturer of the machine.
