Abstract

. The author focuses on the concept of co-evolution, which is considered as the core of modern philosophy of ecology and environmental education. The stages of unfolding of co-evolutionary ideas in the history of world intellectual thought are fixed. The functionality and potential of the formation of an ecological worldview are revealed on the example of the system of higher education in the Yaroslavl region. Points of growth in the process of introduc-ing co-evolutionary ideas into the educational process are indicated.
