Abstract
Safety of live workers during live working maintenance is an imperative absolute. The electrotechnics studies, experiments and observations in the last decades are the cornerstone of the implementation of live working under operational conditions. Obviously, this vast knowledge cannot be consulted or analyzed for any live work preparation even though it must be taken in consideration anytime to keep it safe. This is precisely the aim of Special Operating Modes, in a way that will be described in the following sections.
