Abstract

SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) is a sophisticated system that allows controlling devices via coded signals into communication channels. Its main function is to allow the control of remote power system devices from a remote control center. In addition to the SCADA, complex software is required in order to analyze the data obtained from the system. Without proper analysis, the operator might not be able to take a correct decision of operation.
