The aim of the Núcleo de Estudos em Agroecologia (NEA) project of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão Campus Monte Castelo, is to collaborate in the teaching-learning process of students from the public school UEB Alfredo Silva and to farmers, located in the community of Iguaíba in Paço do Lumiar MA, through visits, experiences and interventions in the classroom with the themes Environmental Education, Agroecology and Healthy Food, in order to promote the teaching of the subjects
