Abstract

This work introduces an approach to improve reading skills from mathematics courses in an Electronics Engineering program. The approach considers five phases called motivation, inquiry, interpretation, theoretical revision and argumentation. The inquiry and interpretation phases are interacting through the dialogue between the teacher and students, which helps students to understand the topic that is being dealt.
