We present a theoretical investigation of overlap factors and low half voltage for different segmented slot waveguide structures to determine optimised geometrical dimensions based on slot widths. Results shows that high overlap factor, and low half voltage, occurs for 200 and 300 nm periodicities at a 100 nm slot width, while for a 400 nm periodicity this width is 125 nm.
