The UV lamp is powered by photovoltaic (PV) energy via an electronic ballast consisting of a DC / DC converter, a DC / AC converter and a resonant circuit (RLC).in this work we introduce the complicated UV lamp model and the water disinfection kinetics, where the radiant energy flux emitted by the dischargegas lamp and the arc voltage are a complex functions of the current and time.
