Abstract
The mini-review highlights the involvement of some elements of Mendeleev Periodic Table into marine biogenic compounds and these elements participation in the marine organisms’ metabolism. Some metals accumulation by marine invertebrates and the metal complexation by highly structurally diverse secondary metabolites are discussed.
