One of the herbal medicinal plants that is widely used in Indonesia is turmeric (Curcuma longa Linn.). Turmeric rhizome (Curcuma longa Linn.) contains active substances that have antibacterial properties, such as curcumin, flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, and tannins. To determine the antibacterial activity of turmeric (Curcuma longa Linn.) rhizome extract against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This research method is a literature review study. Data collection techniques through Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Pubmed with a time limit of the last 5 years will be eliminated according to the restriction criteria. There were 2005 articles that were found and then excluded according to the restriction criteria. 15 articles were found to be reviewed. 金黄色葡萄球菌是一种存在于上呼吸道的正常菌群,但如果发现数量超过正常限度(>110 CFU/ml),则可引起感染。在印度尼西亚广泛使用的草药植物之一是姜黄(Curcuma longa Linn.)。姜黄根茎(Curcuma longa Linn.)含有抗菌活性物质,如姜黄素、类黄酮、生物碱、皂苷和单宁。目的:测定姜黄根茎提取物对金黄色葡萄球菌生长的抑菌活性。本研究方法为文献回顾研究法。根据限制标准,通过Google Scholar、Science Direct和Pubmed进行的时间限制为5年的数据收集技术将被取消。有2005篇文章被发现,然后根据限制标准被排除在外。共有15篇文章被评审。姜黄根茎提取物对金黄色葡萄球菌具有抗菌活性。
