The two basicmodes are; the fundamental-Gaussian beam (LG 00 ) and one Higher-order-Vortex-Laguerre-Gaussian beam (LG 0l ) with differenttopological charges of (l = 1, l = 2, and l = 3). The resulting beamhas almost a uniform intensity, and it is invariant under propagation inlossless systems. Abstract
