To signify the role of threshold distance a comparative analysis has been done for energy consumption per bit with different data rates supported by Ultra-Wide Band with respect to distance. Abstract

Energy Efficiency is the prime concern for Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN). In this paper, a mathematical model for energy consumption per bit has been formulated.
