In this paper, introduce the principle of six reference current extracting methods in time domain, and applying MATLAB/Simulink software to simulate in eight conditions. The results shown that p-q theory method have a high power factor(PF) three-phase balance and harmonic suppression; Fryze-Buchholz-Depenbrock(FBD) method have large reactive and harmonic; delayed signal cancellation (DSC) method have little source voltage and load influence; unity power factor (UPF) method follow with source voltage well, and PF equal 1; perfect harmonic cancellation (PHC) method have large overshoot, in steady state approach to ip-iq method. Abstract
Reference current play a decisive role in power quality control algorithm. In this paper, introduce the principle of six reference current extracting methods in time domain, and applying MATLAB/Simulink software to simulate in eight conditions.
