Abstract

Problem of electron beam dynamics simulations for triode type cylindrical source is considered. The source produces intensive radial converging electron flow for irradiation of cylindrical targets. The angular spread of initial electron velocities, controlling grid defocusing effect, ions flow from the target and electron backscattering effect are taken into account.
