However, the Coliform has insignificantly decreased after treating by Arkal filter which are hundreds to thousands of CFU/100ml. The amount of Coliform have decreased to 12 ÷ 51 CFU/100ml (after Media Filter) and from 1 to 18 CFU/100 ml (after through UF), respectively. Large amount of water is used and wastewater is created in coal mining industry. Coal mining wastewater treatment by reusing it for production and domestic purposes is then essential.
