Abstract

The newest favorable technology that supplies desired amenities to the customer end at a high speed is the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwaves Access (WiMAX). By witnessing the foundation of the WiMAX physical layer a thought has been excellently attained concerning the system of WiMAX. The groundwork to improve the BER vs. SNR variation is developed by using the Firefly algorithm, which has been discussed in this paper by using the MATLAB (R2013b) simulator. The studies and research of the students and scholars are based on the meadow of WiMAX, as a helpful reserve. The reimbursements of using Firefly algorithm in a WiMAX system have been depicted in this paper.
