The research design used was a Control-Group Post Test Only Design. The data collection technique for the main data is the use of scientific literacy ability tests and student learning outcomes tests. While the supporting data with interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis method used for literacy skills and learning outcomes to test hypotheses is the Mann Whitney U Test and Independent T Test, which previously tested the data with the Smirnov-Kolmogorov Normality test through the SPSS 22 application. Abstract

The low scientific literacy of students in Indonesia is caused by learning activities which have not been oriented to the development of scientific literacy.
