Abstract
— An extensive survey of experimental and numerical investigations devoted to predicting optimal parameters of the isolated Savonius rotor and in a couple with .the given Darieus one was done. Bas-ing on review recommendations were given to determining of optimal parameters for obtaining the maximum starting torque of Savonius rotor.
