Abstract
A millimeter-wave holographic antenna array is presented. The combination of the holographic antenna principle with the phased array technology allows a beam steering functionality in two dimensions. The presented holographic antenna belongs to the leaky-wave antennas and can be described by Floquet's theorem. After a review about the theoretical aspects of holographic antennas, the paper focuses on possibilities to improve the beam scanning range. The presented simulation results of the developed antenna with Yagi-Uda-Feed on Alumina are verified by measurements.
