The topological research of the solar-diesel power installation allows one to create a matrix of logical relations between failures, operations and accidents, fixing what kind of failures corresponds to each mode of operation for each condition of solar radiation. Abstract

The combined solar and diesel installations are applied in the self-contained systems of power supply. The necessary aspect in such systems’ projecting and scheduling is the assessment of their reliability. However, a number of problems with a stochastic character of natural recourses appears during the reliability analysis of electric installations with renewable energy sources.
