Abstract
Objective: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a serious health burden and its frequency is increasing worldwide. Several complications are related with diabetes mellitus and now periodontal disease (PD) is also considered as DM-related problem. A 2-way association between DM and PDs has been reported.
