Abstract

In this paper proposed algorithm solves the problem of the trains passing through the red light and thus decrease the dangerous level of railway transportation process. System structure, based on the embedded electronic device with artificial intelligence, is proposed and described in the paper. To gain the better results, the research was divided in four tasks: railway traffic light recognition, railway traffic light red signal recognition, decision making to start braking and finally generate appropriate signal to locomotive’s transmission and braking control system.
